There are some good people there and nothing else

Cons

Too many expats that have no idea what to do there. Many of them only know about Excel and poor english. Many expats, managers think they are God. Low Salary compared with UK market. No salary review. Horrible bonus. Bullying culture from some managers, expats and local Japanese staff. Managers responsible for their people don’t care about you but expats only. Some Japanese staff/expats don’t respect the people. They start yelling to you for nothing. They expect that you do overtime everyday. No inclusive culture.

Only waste time and poor management

- The pay is very low for industry standard. - No diversity. The company makes all decisions in Japanese by its Japanese executives who don't speak very good English and who don't understand the North American culture and business. - Unproductive, inefficient, archaic, non-result-oriented work practices abound. - It's a traditional Japanese company, where employees are valued for working just long hours. - The employee performance review process is a joke. - Directors tend to be socially inept and disrespectful. - You will have disadvantage if you cannot stay at KDDI at least 7 PM.
