Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, and we are sorry to hear that you are left with such a negative impression of us. As you mentioned, our Finance team has undergone some struggles, which is why we have implemented a new ticketing system to streamline requests. You are not alone in finding this frustrating to work through; all we can do is try to improve, which is what we are doing. However, change takes time. We would disagree that the team is lazy and ‘never work’ though, in fact quite the opposite, as Jellyfish has grown, they have an ever-growing amount of work to do, hence some issues around delivery. Without more detail on the key concerns you have around being disorganized or how you were managed, it’s hard to offer a constructive response to them. As you mention, we do have a model of distributed accountability, which does not suit everyone. We appreciate that the optics of making the difficult decision to let someone go and shortly thereafter celebrating an acquisition are not ideal, but the timing of these events is simply unfortunate, not connected. However, it must not have felt very good to witness this from the position you were in, and for that we can only apologize. Ultimately it sounds like you were not happy in the role so perhaps this is an opportunity to move to something new that aligns more with your expectations. We wish you the best of luck in the future.
