      Good pay & benefits if you can deal w/poor organizational structure & lack of a unified vision for district initiatives.

      Pros

      There's a handful of great teachers doing amazing things in their classrooms ergo are a measure to work with and the pay/benefits are some of the best the area.

      Cons

      The bad teachers are pessimistic, resistant to change and they single out teachers who are "trying too hard." Curriculum directors view technology in the district as an add-on and refuse to involve a great technology staff into curriculum development and pedagogical conversations. A 1:1 district with little to no vision for leveraging technology to improve student outcomes. Complacency is rampant and leadership lacks the change management skills needed to lead the transition to digital age teaching and learning.

      Pros

      It's a nice friendly atmosphere if you like working with kids. Let’s of activities to participate and enjoy

      Cons

      The district laughs at employees that ask for a livable wage. 80 million dollar district that spends less than 2 million in support staff salaries. Teachers, Deans, Counselors, etc... are paid generously. The superintendent and management gives themselves raises with objection, while everyone else gets crumbs.
