Pros

I am not sure why Ivy Exec has gotten some 'not so great' reviews. I guess if some people don't get exactly what they want, they get upset and leave a bad review. I have been at Ivy Exec for the past 4 years (longer than any other company I have worked for) and LOVE it here. The work/life balance is fantastic, the management team are always there for you, we always have fun company outings. I have been offered several offers at other companies since I've been here with much higher salaries and declined the offers, because I'm happy here. I really enjoy working at Ivy Exec and am quite certain the other employees are happy too. We have Free lunch on Fridays and no one 'micro-manages' you. They just expect you to do your work. If you don't feel well and would prefer to work from home that day, you have the option to do so. Very casual company, we do have targets to meet, but its work and what we get paid for. I'm very surprised from the other reviews and I'm always one to complain - so take my word for it, from the various companies I have worked for, this is by far the one I have enjoyed working for the most.

Cons

The team is growing and growing and a bigger office space would be great.

Pros

Decent compensation Nice office view in NYC

Cons

Terrible CEO, if you get hired you will be expected to be more a puppet than a thinking being. Elena goes to the point of bringing people in to solve a problem, and then try to tell them how to do things (up to a point of trying to write e-mails for you). She has zero intention of listening to expertise but will expect results that she actively sabotages. - Serious micro management issues. Priorities change drastically within hours - Extremely capable people are hired and then ignored or fired in ridiculously short period of time. - You can get fired within a couple of hours, usually when doing what you were hired for. - Marketing people make most technical decisions

Pros

The people in the organization are team players and great to work with.

Cons

The management are money driven sharks, who play fast and loose ethically. They pay poorly and treat people unfairly by squeezing maximum work for minimal pay.
