Pros

Ivory group has reinvented the word company culture. The staff are heartfelt, and understand each and every individuals lives, journeys and goals. Every place I’ve worked at was just a number. Such an energetic and vibrant place to work for, the incentives the competitions and all the other aspects that make this company a great culture to work within we’re all well and good. However, that’s not what made ivory group special, what made ivory group special were the leaders. The highest people in the company gift you with a goodmorning and a smile. They spoke to you like family, not like your superior. They made sure that all your goals, dreams and aspirations were achieved, and if they didn’t, they’d lose sleep. You would share the same desk as the director and not feel threatened, but lucky. They did everything in their power to make it enjoyable, comfortable and flexible. They didn’t have any uptight old school rules, they’d bend the rules for their employees’ comfort and pleasure. It was the small things that I cared about, the crowding around for your birthday, the welcoming card signed by each employee when you begin employment, the roars and applause when you achieve something that could end up being nothing. One day returning to Ivory Group could be a possibility because I’ve been to many parts of different industries, multiple employers where in the 8 hours a day it was pin drop silence. At a place like Ivory Group The second you step into those doors, you can hear the laughter, the determination, the cheering and a place like that, makes you dread the time of 5:30 pm. Through all the jobs I’ve been in, Ivory Group was the one place that felt like family, that felt like home, that felt like for the first time in my career, I felt like I belonged.

Cons

I seriously don’t know why there’s a con section here when I’m talking about Ivory Group.

Pros

• A diverse team who make it fun to come to work • Working with (mostly) great colleagues, many who you will build genuine friendships with • A great entry level role for recruitment and sales • One on one coaching • Training provided on very practical soft skills • One of the Directors is genuine and cares

Cons

• There's a big disconnect between Management and employees. They constantly roll out new initiatives, but fail to deliver what employees actually need • Base salaries are at least $10k - $15k below market • The CEO preaches 'zero tolerance' for office politics but he is the biggest culprit. There's clear favouritism, and for those employees who aren't favoured, it's obvious. I've seen employees be blatantly disrespected in the open • Well-being isn't genuinely encouraged. Even if you're very obviously sick, you won't be sent home like other normal workplaces, unless you ask. You're expected to put work first. It's also shun upon to take your full lunch break, even though you're entitled to it

Pros

I fail to find any pros worth noting

Cons

Awful company culture! They pressure you to come to work on sick days and only care about making profits. You get treated like you're in high school and you can't trust anyone.
