Pros

Leaving the group chat feels good after a long, horrendous experience

Cons

So many cons it's hard to put into words. Bottom line is that the company does not care about its employees. HR are not to be trusted... something dodgy going on there. Bad pay, too much workload. Probably won't get payed on time. HR will ring you and for fun, who knows honestly. Some of the long term employees are just pathetic to be honest. The only thing they have going on is work. They will put you down to make there day better, but then you'll move on to better things and they're stuck there so who cares. Uncomfortable situations with creepy employees, HR won't care. Owner has control issues and doesn't like inclusivity. People will harass you in the group chat as they have nothing better to do. IT'S HIDEOUS!! run for the hills if you get offered a job. It's not worth it.

Pros

* Worked with really lovely people (mostly the other full timers and part timers) * Had an amazing time vibing with the crew

Cons

Almost everything. The company treated employees like they were replaceable and kept enforcing that. * High Budgets and expected to meet them regardless of how bad the day was for sales. * Spoken down to by Upper Management * No opportunity to grow within the company or get promoted * Upper management is discriminatory, rude and only cares about making money. * Quality of the product = terrible. I had to sit and fix shoes even though it wasn't part of my job description to save the company money sending them back to their manufacturers. * Was forced to do their Opening parties and Irregular Nights till late at night even when I had prior commitments and they refused to meet me halfway. * Was not allowed to help with admin tasks or back office tasks. Was scolded when we tried to help. We were instructed to just stand and greet customers and get them to buy the shoes, and meet our budgets. That's it. No room for growth. * Management fired upwards of 5 people in the span of 5 months even when they were doing their jobs. Their excuse was because they didn't "Fit" the company. * No EAP or other help when work got tough. HR pretty much non existent and rude. * Refused to provide copies of contracts to employees * Upper management talked about employees behind their backs. Super toxic environment. * No work/life balance * Company refused to let me work and study at the same time, and fired me because of it. They do not care about what they do to employees. I would not recommend working for this company ever. They are atrocious and treat their employees terribly. You will not be valued as a person here.

Pros

Some nice products and some real passionate employees You can get promoted through the company but don't expect much higher wages or proper training.

Cons

Employees at irregular choice are incredibly passionate about the brand. The company uses this to its advantage. Overworks and severely underpays employees. Most departments are understaffed. You are expected to put your whole life into the company for no return or even praise. Employees can regularly be seen crying from being so overworked. No one is given suport and employees are rarely listened to when they say they are overworked. You are expected to work long hours. Even outside of work. For no pay. The CEO is contradictory and over manages every the aspect of the company. Even if he doesn't know or have any experience within the subject. He is always right.
