      Pros

      Ironmongery Direct care about their staff and really do take care of you well. It is a customer forcused business where you can learn loads and progress through the company if deserved. They throw great party events throughout the year to bring everyone together and boost moral. Everyone is down to earth and believes in the companies culture to wow it's customers. I see myself staying here for a long time.

      In truth I have nothing bad to say about working for Ironmongery Direct.

      Pros

      First year was fantastic, family vibe and company cared about their employees. Progression was encouraged within the company and talents were nourished in the beginning.

      Cons

      Change in management caused the company to look at employees as purely numbers. False promises for progression to stop people from leaving, overworked and underpaid. Simple things such as not being timed when going to the toilet shown as “improvement” when this should of been the case to begin with!

      Pros

      Working at IronmongeryDirect was one of the best decisions in my career. They have a great attitude towards progression within the company and believe in their employees and personal goals. I work with a great team in Ecommerce and never have a dull day

      Cons

      It’s rare to have a bad day at work here. One of the main complaints is the limited parking, which has significantly improved only recently with new site expansion
