Pros

Company car and fuel card

Cons

They have no idea what they are doing. they just receive job description form clients and try to hire people matching by using LinkedIn and hope that the client will like them. If yes, congratulation, you're an Intys consultant. That's all. It's not a consulting firm. It's an interim firm like Manpower etc. I write below a few examples I have seen to warn you to not sign for this company: I write below a few examples I have seen to warn you to not sign for this company: - Just to give you an idea of how cheap they are: they changed the coffee brand from Nesspresso to Aldi. That's was the action number 1 in their cost saving plan in the Luxembourg office. - Lower salaries than the competition (in average 10-15 K€ lower) - Bad reputation. Intys is blacklisted in Luxembourg. Don't get that name on your CV. They have been banned from working at several clients like Societe Generale, etc. (the ban is not official but they either don't receive RFPs or their offers are not even considered) - They attacked their former employees who left the company and lost the trial in court. The justice said that Intys was lying and has been trying to ruin the former employees reputation by spreading lies and using fake documents. Yes fake documents. Seems like a habit there. They gave raises to some employees to lie in court. - This company and the management are very very shady. - A former employee was leaving the company and they forced him to accept a client work (which was supposed to last 2 years) during his 1 month notice period while knowing that they could not hire someone after. So they basically told the client: yes we can do the work for 2 years while they know that they can only do it for 1 month. All that because they wanted to have 1 month revenue. And they didn't tell the client the employee was leaving the company. The client discovered one day that they had nobody to do the job and Intys didn't seem to care. That's their level of professionalism. - All the 5 stars or good reviews on this site are from the partners and managers in Intys trying to counterfeit their reputation. I know, because they asked me to post a few of them. Fake documents is an habit with them - Verify twice the money they owe you when you leave the company. Always a few hundreds euros missing. They will say that's it's an accounting mistake ;) - They don't respect the work contracts. They cut some benefits that were negotiated when hired without notification (housing benefits, etc.) - I consider my time at Intys as a waste of time. I have not learnt anything. Except what unprofessionalism and incompetence look like

Growing consulting firm with a lack vision

Pros

The low-pressure environment is friendly for fresh graduates. Events are fun and you get to broaden your network. They are trying to fix their internal issues right now and are very much aware of consultants complaints.

Cons

Some consultants don't find a mission over long period of time (up to 10 months) because they are overqualified and the Business Developers can't find them a mission. Most people leave after 1 or 2 years. Right now, Intys is an interim cash-cowing company where BDMs rule the consultant's playground. It is really unrewarding and unchallenging when you are assigned to maintenance tasks on the bench. Even though management is making great technical efforts towards communication, the company fails to convey any clear strategy, vision, or value. Employees can't see the bigger picture because there is none. Past long-term strategies about intys were a hoax from management as they never acted towards company-wide goals.

Pros

- It is easy to be hired there. It is the kind of companies where you go if you can't find a job. If you're lucky, you will have an interesting project - The company is another low cost body shopping firm selling people to fill in punctual needs from their clients. So you pretty much now what to expect. - The work life balance is very good since it depends on the client where you're placed. Intys will not give you any extra work so you have your evenings and your weekend free. It is not the case in many other consulting firms. - When you are on the bench (without mission) you have nothing to do. I can be used as relaxing time

Cons

- Bad reputation. Having the name Intys on your CV won't get you anywhere. It's clearly not McKinsey - No integrity from the management. If they can't get you a mission after a few months, they will fire you and try to not pay any compensation. - If you quit your job because they can't get you a mission or project, they will pressure you to accept to quit without paying you the last month - The speech from the management is totally disconnected from reality. They talk about competing with the big four firms but are doing only body shopping. They don't sell any project or expertise in any given area. They only sell people to fill in for the clients. - The managers in Luxembourg know nothing about finance or consulting (no prior finance or consulting experience). They are just salesmen. So don't expect anything from your managers since they won't know what you're talking about. - There is no career advancement. After you've made it to Senior consultant, you've reached the top. There are no partner or directors who have been consultant before. They all come from the sales department. It is totally unacceptable for a consulting firm. - If you're hired in Luxembourg for the first time, be careful. The salary they will propose is certainly 10K€ under what you could have with a competitor.
