Pros

If you need a job quickly, this is a good option. I started the day after my interview. I'm glad they don't drug test, but I also think that is sort of a con. I have to buy this stuff that costs $50 to pass one and it was nice not to have to do that. I just smoke, but I'm sure some of the other employees do much more and there is no background check so I will say some of the employees could be serious criminals. Honestly, they would have to be criminals to do any serious drugs because they would not be able to afford hard drugs on the money they would make at this job. Due to the fact they can't seem to keep employees, you can probably move up quickly. Although the starting pay for the agents is so ridiculously low, it makes me wonder what a manager would make there. Would be good for your resume so you can find a job at a real call center.

Cons

I didn't even make it out of training, so I'm sure I am missing a LOT of cons. Back to the no drug test or background check issue, apparently some of these employees do steal customers credit card information. I suggest ordering online or making sure your location does not use the call center for orders. Thankfully, I usually order online and if I don't, the locations near me on the northside do not use this call center for ordering. I have never worked for a call center that didn't at least do a background check. Especially when they are taking customers credit information. I have worked in a number of call centers and this is by FAR the worst one I have EVER seen. There are not even cubicles. They just have a bunch of really long narrow tables with the computers on them. They cram as many people as they can onto these tables. You have no room to put your purse or lunch. Keep in mind, there are no lockers or break rooms to put any of this stuff. You can't hear because there are no dividers whatsoever between agents. These tables are only deep enough to put the keyboard and monitor on. You have to supply your own headset. They don't even supply mouse pads. This is on a minimum wage salary. I knew the pay was horrible, but i figured it would at least be like a standard call center in America. It is not. I'm betting there are better call centers in third world countries. Most American call centers (like every one I have ever worked at) will give you 2 paid 15 minute breaks and an unpaid half hour lunch. Not the case here. I believe they will give you a lunch if you are scheduled 8 hours. They don't even bother with a break room. I have never seen a call center without a break room. Not even so much as a vending machine. Normal call centers also have cubicles and decent chairs. They have been there around 11 years I believe. I can't believe in all that time they never thought to get a real call center. Their client is a multi-billion dollar corporation. It makes me wonder why the pay is so low and the call center so pathetic. Does the client not pay them enough to do things right or does the company just keep all the money for the people in upper management. Not sure, but either way......it sucks. If you need a job quickly or are a criminal or a drug addict, this may be the place for you.

Pros

Not one pro only cons cons cons

Cons

Everything is wrong. You must know someone on the inside. I really thing these people on team leads chat monitors use the agents for a position for their resume for THIER next job. These people are usually former military and they stick together. If you are not in their group, you will get let go.

Pros

The customers are usually pretty nice. The management is not too bad when you are working from home. Your schedule is flexible.

Cons

Terrible outdated software. You have to restart often and all of that time is counted as break time! They do not pay enough per order. You will either have to be rude and short over the phone. Probably hang up on people to get in enough orders to make it worth your time.
