I find it very suspicious that a rash of negative reviews with a similar vicious and personal tone. They have taken their vendetta and made it "everyone feels..." I find this review SEXIST and DEPLORABLE. If any team member made the comment "too much estrogen flowing" they would be counseled and based on the outcome, most probably terminated. We value all team members as individuals and I don't put up with discrimination in any form.

DO NOT WORK HERE

Pros

The only benefit is you work from home, but that comes at a high cost to yourself and your ability to have a worklife balance even with a part time position.

Cons

The pay is low for what is expected from this position. You are told that you only have to log in once a day to check emails and make your own schedule. This is simply not true. You are expected to be on multiple Online Meetings weekly that do not fit your schedule. Owner lies about his connections with Podcasts. He may have been on them, but he cannot get the clients on them. He is a liar and expects you to be the one to break the news to the client. He will not back you up. He will get on a call with you and the client, with you believing he will say one thing, then BAM he tells the client the complete opposite. There is no training for the position and you are expected to be able to navigate the complications set forth by the Owner and how he feels in that moment. There is no honesty or integrity with IV. They lie to employees and clients. You will have to lie to clients. IV believes this is just how business is done. Do not dare state your opinion EVER. This will only lead to the end of your time IV. When the Owner states he does not like "cynics" he means he doesn't like employees that point out flaws in a plan and gives alternative solutions. The audacity of an employee explaining why something will not work and that another solution should be considered. How dare you have a brain and thought process of your own. If you want to be a robot, stay silent, never speak up for what you are thinking this job is for you. If you are good at smiling when it is miserable, when you can laugh at jokes that are mysoginistic, when you can let racist comments slide...this job is for you. He likes to hire females and only has one POC as an employee at a time, if you are okay with that...this job is for you. It is not stated but implied to check your platform in the morning, midday, and evening everyday. You catch up on work on the weekend. Train yourself and be available 24/7 because clients will call you from all time zones. You only work 20 hours a week but you are tied to your computer all day 7 days a week. He lies to you and so will your "trainers". I use that term lightly because again you do not get trained. You get an email and are expected to just figure it out. Even though I processed more leads, more contacts with clients, got client statuses above anyone else in my position, that was not good enough for him. He didn't like my honesty. If you can think for yourself, don't work here.

I'm not sure if really a former team member as we have never had Customer Service Representatives and definitely not as W-2 employees If it is fact from a past team member, I am shocked and disappointed by the experience they had while working with Interview Valet. One of our core values is "Life is Short, Work should be Fun". That doesn't mean every day is "rainbows and unicorns" but we work with integrity together as a team doing work that matters for our clients and partners. If this is a real review, I invite the anonymous reviewer to text me so we can set up a time to talk. From day one, every team member has my personal cell phone number. It seems like the anonymous reviewer has some real pain and personal animosity to me, the Founder/CEO. I'd like to discuss this with you as you never brought it up while part of the team or in the exit interview.
