Pros

Flexibility and regional leadership is great to work with. Decent benefits and PTO.

Cons

Unfortunately the (fairly new) CEO and CHRO have turned ILG upside down over the past year or so. They've gotten rid of key players by running people out of the door both voluntarily and involuntarily. Neither truly care about the employee experience and are uninterested in hearing others ideas or opinions. ILG employee's have truly become disposable and are looked at as "just a number" thanks to the newer C suite "leadership" team. Severe lack of communication, broken promises and extremely sugar coated truths really become tiring, frustrating and frankly demoralizing to the employee population. It doesn't make sense to ask for feedback and ideas when the decision has already been made. ILG is well on it's way to becoming a robotic "yes man" company- where the employee voice is silenced. I'm sure the CEO and CHRO are excited to see their plan coming to fruition.

Thank you for your feedback on working at ILG. We are deeply sorry to hear your experience was not as expected and we appreciate the opportunity to listen and learn where we can improve. As a company that deeply cares for its customers and its employees we know change can be very difficult for some. This is why we introduced the first cross company employee engagement survey which resulted in higher engagement results than thousands of companies in the USA. When the economic market required us to make the difficult decision to rightsize our workforce, we provided well above market severance packages and introduced an Alumni program so we can proactively invite these colleagues to apply for positions once the market turns. In the meantime, we are continuing to invest in the core of our business with new product development and operational excellence to ensure our customers and employees thrive now and in the future. If you would like to discuss any specific concerns with us directly, please don’t hesitate to contact us at ILGFeedback@ilginc.com.

Pros

They will pretend the care about you as an employee until they dont.

Cons

Very top heavy company. Management will cut operations, and boots on the ground do make their budget look good, all to save the countless redundant management positions. This company has an OPEX team consisting of a clueless "Chief Transformational Officer" operating under the premise that their word is god, and you are beneath them if you disagree with anything their team puts out. The CEO is the biggest gaslighter of them all. Read the rest of these reviews don't take my word for it.

Pros

Honestly, remote work is the only redeeming factor.

Cons

I would personally AVOID this company if you are looking for a role here. The culture is extremely TOXIC where verbal harassment, public beratement of employees, and mistreatment of people in general runs rampant. If you want to be constantly disrespected, then by all means go for it. The management is all new and there's an obvious disconnect between what's happening in the field. The benefits are also subpar. Vacation is mediocre, healthcare is lackluster compared to other companies, and 401k is subpar. Pay is just average. Depending on the role, I am sure there's absolutely better choices out there that offers way more attractive compensation packages in regards to pay and benefits that have healthier work cultures. Don't settle for less!
