Seems good at first, until the toxicity swallows you whole.

Pros

- monthly BBQ’s; although budgets for the head offices are bottomless and the others depend on 2-4 staff to juggle meetings, deadlines and onion cutting. - baristas; well yeah, sure, in the two head offices only. - support training and courses for career development; IF there’s money in the budget :)

Cons

You guys seem puzzled because of the high attrition rates.... I’ll give you a few pointers; 1. Seniority above skills. 2. “Career progression” is really just a cost saving sheme by not hiring someone who is right for the job and “promoting” from within. 3. Managers with zero people skills, probably because of the above. 4. HR seems to run the show with a type of “ high schooler secrecy”, which makes the workplace atmosphere toxic and grim. 5. Payrise? You mean, working someone to a burnout, them finding a better paying job and then hiring someone for 50% more the salary 6. Recognition program is a puppet show and again, run entirely by HR. Nothing fair about it. 7. Only the head offices in NSW and VIC count. The others in QLD, NT and NZ are like a pain to the other two.

Pros

None what so ever other than a free BBQ that comes and goes like a blue moon

Cons

MD has no clue on how to run a company, Directors have no clue in IT, Directors are more sales driven, don't care about there people which is the opposite of there current values which is a total lie. New building is a total waste of money and every meeting room sounds like you are in traffic.

Pros

The company has gone through substantial growth over the last 5 years, particularly on the back of the GFC. This has seen growth in the workforce.

Cons

One look at the website and you will see a huge emphasis on the value they place on culture. Sadly, the positive culture left many years ago. It has been replaced by one of "cover your backside", the allure of revenue, management that cannot be trusted and some very false practices. By all means take a job here to use a stepping stone but play your game well. Be a yes person, massage egos, play the politics and don't think that sheer hard work is the answer.
