Pros
Okay so I'm going to be completely honest here and I'm going to try my best to balance out the pro's and con's although there are quite a few more cons than pros. 1. The work is easy for the most part. Aside from getting yelled at constantly by customers, all you're doing is cancelling accounts and or answering questions for the customer. Be ready to explain a million times as to why a trial membership rolled over to a monthly membership and to refund their money. Half of the customers are calling to yell at you because they either forgot to cancel their account and were charged for another month or feel cheated because they didn't find the information they wanted on the site. (Which is a total scammy site fyi. Public records search service. Hello-- it's public. Cmon people use your brains, you're paying for something that you can find online. ) 2. The office is pretty laid back. You generally meet cool people. 3. The office is decorated nicely. Not a lot of worthy pros... 4. OH WEEKLY PAY. Which is roughly about $370.00 a week and an extra $40 if you pass all of your calls. ( Which is honestly pretty easy. )
Cons
1. Management. Management is such a joke it's not even funny. Good luck feeling like you matter with this company. You don't. There is obvious favoritism that goes on in the office that everyone is aware of but says nothing. There is also a lot of childish gossip that goes around. Ex. My second week of work was filled with gossip because one of the team leads didn't like me. For what reason? I have no idea but it was extremely uncomfortable. Do-not-expect-any-professional-etiquette here because it barely exists. Now this isn't to say everyone sucks, they don't... but if you weight the two well-- you get where I'm going. 2. The pay. The pay is awesome until you actually start doing the job. I whole heartedly mean it when I say every employee that is on the floor is being cheated! For everything you have to do and deal with they should be making at minimum $14.00 not $10.25. But again it's totally worth working for a month if you're desperate to pay your rent or car note or SOMETHING. However do not expect to stay here for long-- JUST DONT DO IT. I'm going to end this here because I don't want to get too carried away. If you're going to work at Intelicare, congrats. You've got a job and that's awesome. However don't expect to stay at a company like that for a long time. It's not worth it.
