Pros

- Salary was okay - The tech team that I worked with were an intelligent group of folks.

Cons

My time at this company was marked by nepotism, poor leadership, and lack of culture. Management is disorganized, and two of the main "leaders" carry inflated egos that create a weird and unwelcoming environment. I experienced racial micro-aggressions, including being called by the name of another Black woman—someone who wasn’t even an employee, but a customer. This wasn’t a one-off mistake, and it showed a troubling lack of basic respect and cultural awareness. The company has no meaningful workplace culture, and inclusion isn't on their radar. Benefits only begin after three months, which feels like a cost-saving tactic, not an employee-first policy. The worst part came at the end. I was “laid off” under the excuse of organizational restructuring, only to see someone else in my exact role the next day. Initially, they asked me to sign a separation agreement stating I wouldn’t receive my lawfully owed final salary unless I signed it. When I brought up speaking to a lawyer, they quickly “found a mistake” and sent a corrected version. This company does not value integrity (funnily enough), diversity, or fair treatment. I wouldn’t recommend working here to anyone.

Pros

Working at Integrity Advocate as a Solutions Engineer has been a breath of fresh air. One of the standout aspects is the trust and autonomy the company places in its team members. In a fully remote environment, it’s easy to feel micromanaged, but here, the focus is on delivering results for our clients without unnecessary oversight. It’s a refreshing change that truly empowers us. On a personal note, my journey with the Partner Support Team has been transformative. Out of the gates was trusted to find and implement the right CRM to support our clients better, which showed me that my expertise and opinions truly matter. The open-door policy here isn’t just a phrase; it’s a reality. The level of transparency from every level of the company is impressive and fosters a genuine sense of belonging and collaboration. Integrity Advocate’s commitment to privacy and user experience is another highlight. In an age where data is constantly being collected and sold, the fact that we don’t require app downloads speaks volumes about our dedication to protecting end users. Supporting a product that prioritizes these values has been incredibly fulfilling.

Cons

One of the few challenges of working in a fully remote environment is the lack of spontaneous in-person interactions. While we do have fantastic off-site events, like the one hosted last year that was a great experience, it can still be a bit isolating not having those day-to-day in-person connections. The company makes a solid effort to bridge that gap, but it’s something to consider if you thrive on regular in-person collaboration.
