Pros

The opportunity to work from a home office. Medical benefits. Generous PTO.

Cons

Low base salary. Additional income you can earn is not as high as they tell you in interviews. No job security because contracts can end at any time with clients. They focus exclusively on contracts with food companies. A management team with call center backgrounds so, it is a high pressure, cold calling, telemarketing job with all sorts of silly metrics. No creative selling, follow the script to the letter. Monthly goals can quickly turn into weekly goals. Calling the same leads over and over again throughout the year is boring.

Pros

The position is remote. Very little micro-management. It's a job.

Cons

Pay is very low. Salaried position works out to be less than $19 an hour, with a college degree and experience. There is not room for more financial gain or advancement opportunities. The expectations of output compared to the financial compensation do not compare. Database is old an outdated. Many of the accounts are closed and no longer in existence. When a campaign is "refreshed" all the accounts you spent time calling and closing because they are no longer in business are dumped back in. This is COLD CALLING all day long. In the interview they will tell you it is not, but it 100% is cold calling. There is no established relationship with the contacts in the database as implied. Zero room for advancement or financial growth.
