This is an agency that is very rudimentary in their operations and lack the understanding of what a successful broker looks like. The KPI’s of an Account Manager focus on the number of calls you make and how many policies you either write new or cross-sell. If they were to provide you with benchmarking or analytical tools to assist with that, it would work but they don’t. They boast of how they have a team that does your marketing and endorsements, but this “team” doesn’t understand insurance and 90% of the time will come back with multiple questions. There isn’t a proposal that can be generated, you must manually input information into an email and most of your accounts are “small business”.
