Pros

Wonderful coworkers Nice benefits comparative to the sector Compassionate HR staff

Cons

Disregard for day-to-day workload of staff Complete disconnect between UK and US branches Low pay comparative to workload Company change runs at a glacial pace and is heavily dependent on input from UK headquarters Management staffing decisions are questionable and entry level staffing seems to be treated by throwing talent into a meat grinder Communication of huge changes often feels like an afterthought and is done in needless haste

Inside Travel Group Response

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. We’re pleased to hear your experience with colleagues, benefits, and our HR team has been a positive one, those are areas we care deeply about and continue to invest in. We also recognize the frustrations you’ve raised around workload, pay, pace of change, and alignment between our UK and US teams. These are not easy challenges, and it’s clear from feedback like this that when change feels slow or disconnected from day‑to‑day realities, it can be discouraging for those doing the work. Over the past year, concerns like these have been noted and have contributed to a number of operational changes, including additional hiring, clearer local ownership, and a greater focus on enabling decisions to be made closer to the teams they affect. While progress doesn’t always happen as quickly as we would like, we are committed to improving how we support our local branches and how we balance global consistency with local needs. We also want to emphasize that our leadership team, both locally and globally, along with our POD/HR team, are open to conversation and feedback. Ongoing dialogue is an important part of how we continue to learn, adapt, and improve. We appreciate you sharing such candid feedback and for recognizing both the strengths and the challenges of working at Inside Travel Group.

Pros

The people are brilliant, everybody is friendly and passionate about what they do. Worklife balance is good and management are flexible to accommodate needs where possible. I've been here 7 years and feel fully supported and like there is still room for me to grow and develop. Bonus points for our beautiful office in the centre of Bristol!

Cons

None that I have encountered
