Pros

Great team environmet - if your face fits Easy call structure - follow the script to the letter it works Some good campaigns - but it's hit and miss at times as they don't last long

Cons

No real structure to the work process, it is totally learn as you go along with some mistakes guranteed to be made you are constantly learning the internal work flow process with no guidance. Account managers do not manage accounts as execs have to book, chase and collate their own feedback on their calls and bookings. No real career progression - only change of title to senior but no real role change you are just called a Senior BDE there is zero difference between a newbie and us. Told to make 20 calls by 9am from starting the day at 8.30am. Saw people sacked on the spot when managers disliked them. School yard mentality report to H.R across the open plan sales floor for a public shaming for miniscule time keeping infringements, like getting in at 8.29am + 30seconds. High turnover of staff out of 100+ staff members, less than 10 people have been there for more than 2 years+, most Managers have been here for 1 year and they leave. Bonus per booking, only if the appointment is attended, the cancellation rate of appointments due to the third party rep you booked not attending is high and totally out of your control and so you lose out on your bonus

Pros

Great colleagues / terrible management. Good data. Access to tons of contacts with their private mobile numbers. Using salesfoce. Great data for calling. Number of clients to work with. Friday beers! A company of 50 people.

Cons

Poor structure. £30 or £15 per attended meeting. Management has a policy to put through whatever they can as company receive anywhere between £300 to £550 per lead. Which is unfair to us BDE’s as we only get £30. Favouritism exists highly as the only people who tend to get an Account Management position are highly liked although other BDE have highly performed did not get that role. Company has a poor working environment. Located in a warehouse and is shared with a construction event company. You can imagine the smell and loud noises constantly day in and day out. Also employees dont even have a kettle to heat water for their coffees as we only use microwaves when management have their own coffee machines in their offices, which is very unfair towards us. The use of fake names while calling prospects. We are not allowed to use our real names, if we do management will file an official warning. You start on £21,000 and will be promised a raise once you pass probation but they will extend probation to 6 months after to stay within legal terms. Company choose to underpay and make you work long hours. 8:30 to 5:30. Due to the new GDPR regulations company have access to thousands of contact information with their private contact details and this is why they tend to use fake names etc... this has to be changed legally! Management treat people like children!!!

Pros

- Great atmosphere for working - Great structure in place for new people joining the company with a dedicated Head of Business Development - Easily approachable Directors and access to the founders of the company - Amazing chances to progress yourself within the company as they always look to progress and promote from within - A great training process in place which allows you to pick up all the needed skills and have all the tools to be successful. - Constant benefits to those in the company which is a great thing to see that the company give back when many others don't. All in all I can only say good things about Inside Marketing, they gave me a chance in an industry I didn't know a great amount about and with hard work and dedication I have been able to progress myself within the company. 12 months on and I am now a Business Development Manager and a part of an exciting journey with the company.

Cons

There are no cons to working for Inside Marketing, if you give 100% then the company will give you 110% back.
