Pros

1. Good food 2. Cultural activities 3.Salary on joining is good with no variable components 4. Creche facilities

Cons

1. Very bad HR policies. the policies are only meant for their benefits without taking a least interest about employees benifits. You cannot take any leaves in 6 months of joining INFOGAIN. you can either take casual leaves that to for 2 days a month or go for Leave without pay for the first 6 months. After the 6 months get over and you gets confirmed(sometimes you may not be confirmed too, its as per their wish) you can avail earned leave but cannot club earned and casual leaves together. If you resign from the company, they will stop your salary from the month you resigned along with the 2 months notice period that means 3 months you have to work without a penny. They takes near about 2 to 3 months for the full and final settle after the last day of work that too if you constantly bug them on regularly basis then only they will clear it in 2 months. That means nearly 5 to 6 months without a penny from INFOGAIN. Worst full and final settlement procedure ever seen. 2. Cab charges are too high, sometimes they will send you to client site located far off from INFOGAIN office and will ask you to pay for the cab that is Rs 4000 per month. 3. you have to complete 9.5 hrs everyday even if you don't have any work. 4.Total hire and fire company. They will hire in bulk when projects are in pipeline and again fire them if they don't get the project. 5.Highly unethical company, they will lie to employees, even lie to their clients. For god sake at least leave the clients they are the one from which you are driving your revenues. 6.Vrey good company for those who can master politics, the boot lickers can only survive here for long. If you are eager to learn the politics, INFOGAIN is just the exact company

Pros

Umm. None. Umm, Seriously, None!

Cons

Well, The company is run by a handful of egoistic personnel, who feel owing to their fancy designations, they literally own the employees. Employees are expected to slug, comply and behave in a meekly, nonchalant manner when in return they get nothing. The salary compensation is peanuts. Hike rate is worst! Recently, the company managed to fool employees by not giving any appraisals for over two years. Unhealthy seating space. Very congested and crowded. After a while, you start feeling you're seated in a flea market, with managers and colleagues giggling and screaming around you. Yuck! Since it is a service based organization, expect heavy client compliance. No matter what, the management will stoop to any level to keep the client blindfolded and happy. They forge leaves, and mis-commit the client, and then burden the employees with their impossible expectations. HR : a.k.a Human Resources, literally doesn't exist. They are supposed to address employee grievances, and are expected to deal in a professional manner, but no! The HR is in full partnership with the management, and make sure you end up complying what your manager or seniors want. They will force you to bend the knee, quite literally. And that is where it gets worst! So, there is no HR or anyone to save you or listen to your grievances. What you say to your HR, is immediately leaked and disclosed to your manager, or colleague. I was harassed, and pray others are spared. Umm, what else? Yes - the internet sucks! The laptop, hardware or any other software was given to you doesn't work half the time. They expect you to support from home, give you an old, obsolete laptop, without a dongle or anything, and then expect high-quality work from you. Doesn't work that way. Forget any career growth or learning. You are expected to comply and do whatever the client wants. It is pure luck, that you land in a good team, with a prospective work and decent teammates, and a genuine manager, who 'cares' about you. Ps, If you are reading this, with an Infogain badge aroud your neck - God bless you! I pray you get out of the toxic place, before the obnoxious collar strangles you. Eeeek! If you are any one else, and are reading this post, to decide whether or not to seek Infogain as a career option, well - God bless your thirsty soul.
