Pros

- There are some nice people - Free coffee

Cons

- The culture is disturbing - Tall poppy syndrome exists amongst most of the senior leadership and management level and if someone newer, smarter, fresher, or bolder comes along they are instantly shot down and made to fit in a small box. Should you choose not to play in this box, you're bullied out of the org. This is particularly true of senior level employees - "We've always done things X way" is a common response to attempting to solve problems with innovation - If you don't follow the heard of sheep and swoon over the CEO, you're quickly ousted - C-suite leadership are old school bullies who turn a blind eye to some pretty bad behaviours by some staff members - Managers are given the weight of the world and no real tools or support to deliver results - Listen to the other reviews about bullying, sexual harassment and poor leadership. This place is one step away from a cult with the CEO at the helm. - If you don't know who the CEO is, don't worry, you soon will as he likes to say his name at every opportunity, including through all forms of marketing, on the website and even manages to draw his name into any charitable events staff do. He really thinks quite highly of himself, and never misses an opportunity for shameless, egotistical self promotion.

Pros

InfoTrack started off as the BEST place to work Work with some lovely people Free breakfast/lunch Massages Free Gym Membership Casual Dress After a while these things didn't matter (see below)

Cons

This is the most poorly managed company I have ever worked in and I've worked in some pretty rough ones. I've been here almost 3 years and in this time, I have been bullied (by colleagues and managers), constantly told I wasn't good enough, I've worked my butt off to get to where I am and am treated like I don't matter and like a child (very condescending). Unless you are a favourite of your manager, you will not be acknowledged for the hard work you put in. Management blow things out of proportion that don't even matter, when there's bigger issues they could be addressing? Want 2 weeks stress leave? Just put in your resignation! They need you too much to let you quit so they'll just give you some alone time and drag you back in! The only time you will be noticed and recognised is if you're leaving or gone. The saying 'you don't know what you got til it's gone' is a phrase that InfoTrack live by with the rate they're losing staff. If you ever think that your opinion will be valued and listened to, forget it. Major issues are swept under the rug just like everything else. They won't deal with it. Want to have major mental health issues? Then this is the work place for you! Stress eating and crying everyday becomes a part of your life here at InfoTrack because you are constantly talked to condescendingly and told you're not good enough, no matter how hard you try. Why stay you ask? Well, it's CERTAINLY not for the high pay I tell ya! There's none of that here unless you're Sales or in Development. You get all the extras that you like for a while until you realise you can't actually afford to live and pay rent, etc and would rather the money in your pocket for the hard work you put in. You will not be paid over time but are expected to stay back a ridiculous amount of hours to get work done. You will be made to produce a long list of all the things that you work your butt off to go 'above and beyond' to get a raise and get nothing near what you ask for/deserve, which is alright until you realise other companies just give their staff an automatic pay rise every year. InfoTrack is a money and stats hungry business that has all these 'benefits' because they don't want to pay you more or look after you themselves. They care more about the stats (that is a direct reflection of the TEAM not the MANAGER) and don't care whatsoever for their staff's well-being. You know how you're always told not to bring personal issues into work? Well you can't. BUT your manager can. And when they do, phwoar you better look out or she will rip you a new one. But don't you do that or you'll be in big trouble. One rule for you another for them :) Oh and now they make company goals for certain managers to KEEP their staff! Pfft, that is a laugh and a half. But they're not going to ask their team why they're not happy or what they can do better. Oh boy no, they're just going to give you more team bonding activities! That solves everything hey! They also made a bunch of really valued employees redundant to pay for their yacht so they could win some big race? So if you ever think ‘wow I feel really valued as a staff member at InfoTrack’ just wait, your turn is coming. And then after they made these people redundant, they held a team meeting to let everyone know that this doesn’t mean that business isn’t doing well, because in fact they’re better than ever! Just gotta get rid of a couple of people that get paid a bit more than everyone else so we can buy more things to make us look good! But I know no matter what I say, InfoTrack will NEVER listen and actually try and better their company to support their staff again. As their core goals say 'we care about what we do and the people we work with' well only half of that is true. They don't care about you. Not one bit. But hey if you are feeling down, there's always the Drake program they encourage you to use. Go see a Psychologist because they'll actually listen to you because InfoTrack won't. Management will sit there like vultures and wait for you to make a 'mistake' or what they think to be a mistake and pounce. They don't actually do anything. Or at least mine doesn't. At the end of the day, happiness is the most important thing, and if you are looking to InfoTrack for their staff benefits, just take this away with you - it will not make you happy. It will make you depressed and feel like you're not worth a thing.
