Pros

Exposure to diverse consumer product projects.

Cons

Unrealistic expectations to deliver customer service that is rigidly defined by the president rather than giving the professionals at work the freedom and resources to adjust their effort, time, skills to each client. Management is overbearing.

We're disappointed to hear you felt this way but thank you for letting us know. We agree that it's important to be able to adjust effort, time, and skills to each client to ensure we deliver great work, efficiently, and we have systems in place to do just that. That said, providing product development services is a challenging business and it may not be for everyone. As you know, we are committed to continuously improving our processes, and ourselves, and we've noted your feedback.

Amazing company culture!

Pros

-Excellent company culture (won Canada's #1 best workplace voted by employees in 2021). -They spend a lot of time screening new hires to ensure good cultural fit. -Lots of group activities. Everyone participates. -Management listens and seem to genuinely have the worker's interests in mind (which makes sense given the nature of the business...the product is ultimately the employees, their know-how & expertise). -They don't skimp on any required training. -Always looking to improve and regularly ask employees for feedback. -Fair salary scales and always revising them according to market conditions. -Management are very transparent to all employees.

Cons

The nature of consulting business is: -Work tends to be cyclical. Sometimes there is a lot of work, other times a bit slower. -There are lots of different clients in a variety of domains. Some people thrive by constantly learning, other prefer less changes. -Working with startups can sometimes be challenging in small budgets / short lead times.
