It used to be location but can't say that that applies any longer.
Cons
I was not challenged or encouraged to grow professionally during my time nor was I ever once asked about improvements to the organization. Relationships with other employees were very much discouraged and frowned upon. I once got a cake for a departing employee and I was reprimanded that said employee did not "meet the criteria" to receive a cake, even though I had personally paid for the cake out of my pocket. My performance review was presented to me by being left on my chair and there was never a conversation with my supervisor about its contents which is sort of antithetical to its purpose. During my stay I think that it would be fair to say that fear was used as a primary motivator. Thick skin is definitely a requirement to work here. Def
