Pros

As an engineer, I have to admit you end up learning a lot. Working with a great team of professionals. Coffee shop down the street is awesome (If you are working at the office that is) If you are working as a consultant you will be working at a client location probably, which means you will be away from the CEO. That's good. Trust me. You want to stay away from that guy. Work can be pretty nice depending on the client you end up with.

Cons

The CEO is not an honest person. He micromanages people. He has no ethics. He says and/or does anything to hire a developer, get a client or leave a client. He makes promises he won't keep. He forces people to lie for him. Even the 5 star reviews here were written by people who were asked by him to write them.

Pros

The people on my team are nice.

Cons

The CEO, Gunjan Doshi has no regard for his employees, talks big concepts that have no action and is abusive. I have sat in the same meeting done 5 different times - no action, no follow up, and then only to be asked why I did not do something that I had no idea to do. In townhalls and other company communication, you are sold the world but they will fire you as soon as you are not serving the ceo's pockets. They will call you part of the 'InRhythm family' but will block you from taking roles that you want to take with a client. Do not come work here if you want to enjoy your work with independence and advance in your career. Only come here if you have no other choices. Be ready to be micromanaged and yelled at by Gunjan while everyone sits and watches. He cares about how he can squeeze all monies out of you as a client and work you to the last drop as an employee or contractor. I had to fight hard for my raise and bonus, and I know for a fact that I am not the only one. On top of your day job, they will expect you as a consultant to do InRhythm work for free, Interviews for free, attend InRhythm events, give workshops for free and still attend random InRhythm meetings that have no purpose early mornings, middle of the day and evenings. Did I tell you this is the expectation on top of your day time, full time job? They are a recruiting agency, that is it. You would be better off working for a temp staffing company than them. Recently it was announced that the coo is taking an extended leave away from the company. This is big blow as I read all the negative reviews before she started and took the job because of her. I am sorry to see her go and I know many people here are also.

Thank you for your thoughts. We are really sorry about how you feel. First, let me address the comment about our leadership team - 2018 has been a stellar year of growth for InRhythm. Thanks to our amazingly passionate teams and leadership, we have grown 300% in the last several years. In 2018 - we became one of Inc 5000 fastest growing company for 6 straight years, Deloitte fastest growing company for 3 straight years and consulting magazine fastest growing company 2 straight years! Just recently, we significantly expanded our leadership team and as you add new members - it takes time to integrate and well as make people feel part of a team. It has nothing to do with not having regard. We are in midst of implementing several new initiatives and there are lot of discussions and it takes time to finalize those. I do agree with you that follow through and execution is key, which is exactly why we have implemented a meeting rhythm internally. Part of the meeting rhythm is to ensure we have follow through and actions on every meeting, as well as a resolution on the issues we are trying to tackle. We are very much a high growth company and we appreciate your patience as we continue to evolve and become more efficient across the board. I am also sorry you have not felt heard by the leadership team. We certainly strive to ensure our teams are heard and have a say in continuing to build a great company. Please know that you can come see any of us with your concerns about meetings and executing. This is all about growth and we are so glad you are in this journey with us. We have a major initiative to invest in growth and learning of our employees. We do want our employees become leaders and have personal growth. Hence, we have training events in the company. However, they are 100% optional and not mandatory! We want only the best and brightest to join InRhythm. Hence, we do want our employees to interview our other consultants. For those who want to participate and have the experience to do so, we do have additional benefits for interviewing and workshops, where anyone who chooses to participate gets paid time off back both for interview time and also any workshop session they conduct. This is very much a voluntary program. While we feel it is a great program, if you choose not to be a part of it, please let your practice lead or our HR coordinator know. We encourage erring on the side of more communication and we are happy to adjust! Last on the comment of the coo leaving – I still very much remain in the organization though am taking a bit of leave to focus on some personal initiatives. Our whole leadership team, including myself, has an open door policy. Please do not hesitate to reach out to anyone of us. Finally, I do feel that InRhythm team is a family and as we continue to grow exponentially, we hope to continue to have that open dialogue that our teams love us for.

Don't get sucked in

Pros

Seamless Friday's were great. Until it got taken away because spending $300 once a week on a group of people who are earning you millions is just way too much.

Cons

You get the gist from the reviews. The CEO can't be trusted, plain and simple. I'm not going to bash him personally, but you'd be smart to pursue other career opportunities before joining a sinking ship. Guarantee this company is shut down by end of 2016 if Gunjan is still the CEO. Also, bring back seamless fridays. That was literally the only good part about working there.
