Pros

Prior to 2013, the company was a very stable and energetic place; had good product offerings and positive feedback

Cons

Post-2013 management changes; too many layers developed; got away from core values that made company a good place to work; significant layoffs in end 2014 to now

Pros

Great people to work with. A lot of the hiring was done through employee referral "we have a need for XYZ, who have you worked with in the past that has that experience and are good to work with". A real focus on delivering a quality product to the client. Good bonus structure for the project teams.

Cons

Layoffs due to down turn in oil price. A perception of the "Mahogany Row" syndrome in upper management.

5 layoffs in 3 years!

Pros

It's always the people in a company that are missed the most, especially on the floor. High tech stuff is cool.

Cons

CEO and CFO gotta go. They deceive new hires and old timers into thinking there is hope . With these guys at the helm, good luck. And, Engineers are running the company down, and are responsible for the SLOW moving fixes to the problems, and guess what? All of these survive every layoff.

It was once a good company to work for

Pros

Good Co-Workers, flexible work schedule

Cons

Numerous rounds of layoffs. People being let go are the actual people who do the work. The company won't be able to survive with just VPs, SVPs, EVPs, CFO and CEO. Clients recognize this and are reluctant to give them work. Stock price below 50 cents.

Pros

Great immediate boss and great co-workers. Laid back culture with flexible work options at the discretion of the individual manager that you work for. If you have the right manager, you can learn a lot in this company and make lasting friendships.

Cons

The vision for the company is flawed and CEO is partial to one division or another based only on their latest performance figures rather than seeing the bigger picture. Upper management has stayed virtually intact after the layoffs that have reduced the company to half its size. Middle management is inconsistent, wants to control the processes without technical skill or the management skills to help the base grow.
