Very Good, But Not Great

Pros

IMG is a massive, global company, so it has obvious hurdles that global companies tend to have. Slower processes, for example. But this is a very good place to be if you have any aspirations to be working in sports. Their reach is huge, so whether you are in college athletics, golf, tennis or otherwise, IMG has such an array of clientele that you can't throw a rock without hitting a target. The office atmosphere is quite good. Not great, but quite good. Most of the company work in teams based on which clients they are dedicated to (if they are on a client account), but are very friendly and interactive with one another. Fashion may not work with Consulting, but that doesn't mean you can't have laughs together or enjoy being around each other daily. Outside the occasional negative employee here or there, you generally aren't dealing with people holding information hostage between teams thinking it gives them power. They're quite open. As is the HR department. Have any issue? You can schedule an in-person meeting with one of the many HR reps in no time, and it's all confidential and secure. Not just to complain about co-workers or issues at the job, either. Their services extend beyond the work. If you are having issues at home, dealing with other things in your life. They can help, or they can provide you help. Compensation and benefits are good here. They routinely overpay out of the gate, because you aren't likely to get huge jumps in salary year-to-year (rather incremental raises and bonuses). Sick leave is unlimited. If you're sick, you're sick. Stay home. You won't be fired over it unless you're abusing this just to not show up. Vacation is also quite nice out of the gate. I believe the standard is 12 days paid. Could be more if you negotiate in your hiring process. Working from home is OK, again so long as you don't abuse it, and most employees are given laptops which you can take home with you. They regularly stock the kitchen with water, fresh fruits, snacks, etc. And their Consulting department does hold monthly-ish Happy Hours on the company's dime. Selective Summer Fridays as well.

Cons

Like any company, it has its fair share of trash-talkers and Negative Nancy's who are always dishing dirt, thinking it helps them, or simply because it's in their nature. This is easily avoidable if you just don't interact with these people often. The offices are also a bit in flux as they deal with a lot of staffing but too few seats, so you may not get that office you were hoping for. At least not right away. But they are actively looking at other spaces, additional floors, etc. so this is a temporary problem.

Looks good on your resume, notable artists in fashion, networking

Cons

Poor management, low salary, bad office vibes, low key racism and sexism which plays into office politics and promotions.
