IDEC USA is a sales arm for IDEC Japan. The focus is to make products for the Japanese market and attempt to sell them to US customers. The available products are a hodgepodge of switches, automation, safety, etc., but there are no complete line of anything making it hard to identify a customer base.
Management is an assortment of family and long time Managers that are only interested in profit at the end of the day. Availability is a problem, understanding the market is a problem, and getting the tools you need to do your job is a problem. If you are getting ready to retire and you just want a few more years, IDEC is good, if you are young and aggressive, this is not the place to be.
