Pros

None. A job for people with no shame or respect for others. Maybe you'd like it if you don't mind people who are pretentious, arrogant, and rude or if you're okay with terrible hours, earning only commission, having a job that only serves to irritate others, being mislead through an interview process, and being forced to work with a group of people who are clearly in denial of how pathetic their work is.

Cons

This company values it's tiered marketing structure where you can get promoted to another meaningless title with the same work so you can train other who fall into this scam to take your old job. Avoid this company at all costs. I fell for the scam I only hope others do not. "Account manager" really means salesman. Door to door salesman. from 1230-8 p.m Monday through Friday and 10-3 on Saturday. If you value your family or social life or dignity I suggest a better organization.

Thank you for taking time out of your day and giving feedback as this will better our company. We have many positions at our company so this will be regarding the one in this posting. Account managers typically work 40-50 hours a week. I'm sorry you disagree with those hours. Also, we just got done contributing to Toys for Tots and we will be having a fundraiser for Operation Smile in January 2015. We're sorry if you met people you didn't get along with. Lastly, our training program is designed to develop managers. We apologize that you weren't able to complete the training program and qualify for management. Some early responsibilities are direct sales in a face to face setting on B2B or B2C campaigns. We know that talking to people is not for everyone so we wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

Pros

None, besides maybe whatever having another job listed on your resume would do.

Cons

I would second the other negative review word for word. Everything he or she wrote was spot-on. The building this company is in, the look of the actual lobby, offices, and insistence on "business professional" attire is all a front for what you are actually hired to do: go door to door trying to sell people a different type of service that they already have. Your average day begins with putting on a suit, going into the office, taking off your suit, and putting on a shirt with the logo of whatever service provider you're going to be representing that day. You drive to a location and then walk door to door, ringing the bell and reciting a sales pitch over and over again to people who do not want to have anything to do with you. You're coached on when to make eye contact, when to look away, when to act like you're writing something, etc. It's all so phony and you constantly feel like you're taking advantage of people. Many customers want nothing to do with you, insult you, and essentially make you feel sub-human because you're essentially interrupting their time at home with their families. If you have any respect for privacy and not selling people services they already have, you'll lose a little bit of yourself with every house.

Pros

The company's culture is what sets it apart from any other company I've come in contact with. It attracts driven young professionals that all work very hard to learn business and management in a condensed amount of time. The best part is that any one person's success can't hinder the growth of another, which is what makes the team environment so strong.

Cons

The performance-based structure isn't for everybody. Each individual's progress through the program is directly correlated with their performance, so working hard is mandatory to move up. Be ready to be challenged and forced out of your comfort zone.
