I am one of the few examiners who has been with the company for more than 2 years. No question a shakeup has occurred but the jury is still out on if that's a good thing or a bad thing. A lot of good talent has been let go specifically in the past 2-3 years. It seems like upper management has the "out with the old, in with the new" mentality. The problem is that the new coming in don't know anything about trucking claims or claims at all..let alone the 10+ different outdated software systems required to document different claims.
Micro-managing is at an all-time high. If managers would give us a chance without breathing down our backs to make sure their numbers look good, then maybe everyone wouldn't be so stressed. Stop having so many meetings and maybe we would have time to handle the claims we've taken over from others who are no longer with the company.
