Pros

- Good Salary - Excellent global benefits - Warm and welcoming employees That's why I rated 2 stars instead of one.

Cons

Steve and Gord were amazing CEOs, who ALWAYS stood up for their employees, no matter how bad was the company's finances. But since Gord's departure, in Jan/2022, Iamgold values changed drastically. The focus now is shareholders only Rosebel was sold months after the new CEO was announced. A little later, several exploration offices were sold/closed. On November 19th 2024, 4 days before Brossard's office holyday party, the CEO, Renaud Adams, called everyone at the meeting room and said this: "Some days we come with good news, other with bad news. Today is a bad news day. The company doesn't need to have two corporate offices, so we are closing Brossard office. Go back to your desks and wait for the HR to call you one by one. Thank you" Half of Iamgold's corporate workforce was fired with no further explanation. Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Technical services, Project development, Health & Safety, all gone in a wink. The company's IT team was based in Brossard. It didn't matter. They fired everyone. Today, aside from the mines' local teams and 2 user support techs in Toronto, Iamgold has no IT. I don't recomend a company with this mindset, The executive leadership knows absolutely nothing about the company they are running. Their focus is only on the shareholders. When will Thanos snap his finger again?

Pros

The gold now in February 2025 is at all-time high and this is helping this struggling company. But we were fired on November 19th, having as motivation: ''selling Rosebel in Surinam, spending money with Côté Gold, need to improve performance, we have too many corporate employees! A pro is that HR will quickly respond to this post trying to excuse Iamgold.

Cons

CEO works for shareholders only, NOT for employees. Very poor IT tools and systems. Each department works in a closed environment, not sharing with other departments. Côté Gold Mine -personnel struggling with the chaos at the mine. Westwood Mine is not performant; did profit for first time in 5 years.

Pros

Offered a job when needed, but took it back without notice! :(

Heartless (employees means nothing). Unstable. Had to travel to remote or in dangerous locations ( terrorist area).
