VP is sober, but a previous review mentioned bullying and I thought it was just a former hostile employee review bc it seemed like such a family business…. The bullying is really bad. They use group chat on laptops and will spread rumors about new hires. They will talk smack to your face, and then about you to one another. One girl even whispered to another that she “hates me,” after giving me the nastiest look. The pay is really bad for the amount of work that is going to be expected of you. You don’t get PTO till a year of employment, and it’s only 2 days. Paycheck does not cover bills, not even rent. I wasn’t given an email address for a month, was not given a desk to work at, and no phone. It set me up to fail when I wanted a career as a community manager. Especially when my character and ethics were maliciously targeted for scrutiny when I was brand new.

This company would prefer people to be puppets and do as they say. Family owned and operated. Keeping family members pockets full of money was more important than paying their employees what they are worth. Very high turnover rate.
