Pros
One may argue some of the people are at their core, "good people". That is about as far as you can go with the positive.
Cons
Clearly a firm that refuses to leave the 1990s. The partners have one foot out the door and operate the business accordingly. To say they operate a flat company does not do it justice. Those in leadership positions literally aren't qualified - a CTO who isn't a technologist, a CFO without a CPA or fundamental background in accounting? ... Why not have your interns trade your energy positions? The most amusing fact, if it can be called that, is how Hess managed to sell their interest to a highly respected fund. Talk about being sold snake-oil.
