Pros

There are no pros if I’m being honest, this place will ruin your life!!! Stay away at all costs..

Cons

-Lied about your commission/salary, you get underpaid what commission you earnt, directors and head of sales pocket your commission. They hope you forget by giving you pizza once in a blue moon hoping you forget-oh and that is if you work through your lunch!! If you don’t you will be made an example of. -Racial abuse on sales floor -the head of sales is a toxic and micromanaging crazy woman, she works part time and justifies her wage by micromanaging staff. -the director of sales is a arrogant individual who stands on the sales floor and watches the team and makes the feel uncomfortable and anxious. -the head of customer excellence belittles your achievements and constantly squeeze more out of you. -they calculate how long you go on toilets and constantly change when you can have lunch. -when you leave one minute past your shift finishes the directors and head of sales make comments and belittle you in front of everyone.

Pros

Met some really good and nice people during my time at HSS. Unfortunately that is where the pros start and end!

Cons

Where to start! My last year at HSS (out of 5 years service) has been a living hell. This place has turned into an absolute shambles of company, and that is being polite. Staff morale is at an all time low as a result of low pay, high/unrealistic expectations and very poor management. There has been a major reshuffle in middle management and they seem to have adopted a culture in the office that you would expect to find in a maximum security prison gang. People being bullied and threatened into carry out tasks they do not want to do (cancel pre-booked holidays, work overtime, travel to different parts of the country all at short notice) or isn't in their job description. There is supposed to be a whistle blowing policy in place at HSS to report such behaviour, but if you do it will more than likely result in the person who reported an incident being sacked as more often than not they will be reporting a manager, and that's a big no no. On the subject of whistle blowing, it is common knowledge in the office that the HR department within HSS, reviews this site and will write false reviews to increase it's rating! Already terrible salaries have been frozen, yet several middle managers and senior sales staff boast about recieveing bonuses! They company is under performing yet they hand out bonuses middle managers! Figure that out. I would say 80% of new starts leave the job before their probation period is over. This is due to miss selling of roles and blatant lies being told during interviews. Progression is limited, a lot of good, hard working people have left or will be leaving the business as a result of their being no progression. The business is on a major downward spiral. Several major suppliers are on stop due to lack of payment. Unipart contract is sucking the life out of HSS and is having a huge impact on availability and ability to service customers. In an effort to grow revenue, HSS has bitten off more than it can chew and signed up to one too many loss making customer contracts Amey being one to them. To be fair to the current exec team these are all things they inherited and they are trying to resolve, but in my opinion it's too little to late. In my honest opinion, In the next 18-24 months HSS will either fold or murge with one of its rivals, namely speedy, and slashing its work force. Constant warnings being made to the to the city and results keep worsening despite best effort of company to sugar coat results.

Pros

There is a few staff that will help you and train you but even then its not worth the hassle from the management.

Cons

Toxic Environment No support/Training/coaching Management lie to you and trick you, Example of this being told your not doing something when the manager purposely removed it - Bullying! You will be micro managed. If you don't fit in with the clique, say one thing they don't agree with (even if its singer you like) they will go out of there way to make your life miserable, this unfortunately includes bullying and saying things behind your back. There is too much work and ZERO support - Even when you beg for support its not offered. For your own mental health - STAY AWAY
