Pros

The only thing good about working here is the Benefit, good health insurance and PTOs. Big name clients and diverse people in the company. Fun company parties and birthday celebrations. Caring and friendly coworkers.

Cons

Hostile work environment. Lots of yelling going on in the office. Absolutely no growth opportunities unless you are best friend with the management team. Drama everyday in the office and people gossip like there's no tomorrow.

Pros

Great benefits with summer hours. Fun and laid-back culture with great coworkers that are friendly and helpful.

Cons

Directors have zero management skills and do not value their team members. Compensation is not based on the number of projects you do or how much responsibilities you have. Great work performance will not give you a raise. Unfair compensation with no potential growth in the company unless you are friends with the CEO or VP.

Pros

HCT as a whole is a decent company, you will meet some really wonderful people and great friends. You will have decent benefits and there are two bonuses and one raise a year. The pay is comparable for the industry when you first get hired. Of course the remaining aspects of your experience will depend on what team you get hired onto. There are some teams that support members being promoted and leading sales positions. There are some teams that value input and will have round table discussions and brainstorming sessions. There are some teams that have pot-lucks for fun. There are some teams that host company wide giveaways of the retains, so you get to try out the products that they produce. There are some teams that smile and light up when you enter a room and are happy to help you learn.

Cons

Dependent on management your life can be made extremely difficult. On the team I was working on all the supporting teams (logistics, product development, design and engineering) were wonderful to work with, however my own superior was commonly absent. I would be told that their door was always opened when in reality they were usually coming in between 10 am and 12 pm, leaving between 3 pm and 5 pm. Most of the time spent in the office they were too self involved to be available for quoting the customer or giving advice when there were difficult issues. The people that take the time to bend over backwards for the boss get priority even if they are unable to bring any value to the team themselves. If you go to the head of the team crying about how you deserve more money because you have a hard time supporting your online shopping habit you will get more money but if you are someone that works your hardest and accomplishes great feats you will get minor pay raises just to keep you from going under. The manager will talk about giving you opportunities to move up but if you are a hot commodity they will just drag you along until you get a better opportunity out of the company, there is no upward movement.
