      Could be a great place to work, but need some big changes.

      Pros

      The pay at HBK is great. Benefits are still fairly good, but diminishing each year. Some of the senior management staff is great and they are highly respected. The pay is great and there are many interesting things to work on.

      Cons

      There is very little trust and communication at HBK. We are all too busy and expected never to make mistakes. Some of the senior management staff has extremely poor management skills.

      High caliber co workers, great opportunities to learn and develop and a strong culture supporting both collaboration and individual achievement.

      Cons

      I do not really have anything bad to say here. Maybe I wish they grew a tiny bit more aggressively.

      smart driven teams delivering results

      Pros

      - worked with really smart people - small company work environment with big company pockets - great benefits : healthcare + free breakfast/lunch/snacks/drinks/beer (on fridays) - suprising number of staff have been here longer than +5 years - great work life balance ... especially when compared to working IB in a place like NYC

      Cons

      - career growth is not via titles/positions but in expanded responsibility and increased pay (in case you're someone who likes to get new shiny titles every year, this place might not be for you) - gained 10 pounds in my first year thanks to all the free food ... caveat emptor!
