Cons
I went through a 2 month hiring process with multiple interviews, testing and obtaining reference letters from former CEOs. After the 2 months I received an offer that was 10k lower than my salary ask (which had been discussed in interview 1). HR suggested I should be happy because I could still ‘win’ that portion as a potential bonus. They refused to negotiate even thought it was their communication error. They took no accountability and did not even apologise. The company showed zero regard for my time and the impacts of having passed up on other opportunities and relocating to a new city.
