Pros

Connected and developed rapport with clients and worked from the comfort of home.

Cons

The nepotism in this company is overwhelming. Almost all of upper management and executive employees are either related, dating, or were friends prior to onboarding. The turnover rate is astronomical and executive management recently began outsourcing to the Philippines. The quality of services provided by this company is sub-par (at best) and price-points, offerings, and packages are ever-changing. Management rewards hard workers with arbitrary "kudos" and more assignments. Formal requests for pay increases are not taken seriously and in most cases, never awarded. They are more concerned about their bottom dollar and disregard their employee's physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. You are not guaranteed to receive your last paycheck. One of the most disturbing ethical violations is that the call center manager is also the HR director. If you are unbothered by the constant anxiety of being micro-managed, logging on to find that someone else has been fired, the services you are selling have changed (yet again), there are about a dozen new "processes" or your working hours have been changed, then go right ahead and may the odds be ever if your favor. Just make sure to get EVERYTHING in writing and make sure to CC at least one other witness to "CYA" always.

Pros

- Helping people find out things they would have never known about one of the biggest purchases and investments in their lifetime (a house) - Being able to be a part of transitions and expansions within the company - Cool office location - Women owned

Cons

- Abrupt in the way they do things...will tell you one thing one day and another the next - Says there's room for growth and opportunity but the minute you do something they don't agree with, they're quick to get rid of you - A lot of setbacks...there are a lot of people who have the knowledge and information to help others succeed but the leaders don't do a great job of teaching or being accessible - No culture... very cliquey like high school... very much like a fraternity and sorority... borderline hazing...if you're not for them, you're against them... basically not cool enough to be in their crowd - This company is kind of all over the place when it comes to operations

Thank you for your candid feedback. We have taken great lengths to boost our Operations team as we have seen that as an area of opportunity for GreenWorks. In regards to our culture we strive to create the most dynamic employee first culture in our industry. Human-centric approach is always taken especially in the way in which the world has changed since the pandemic. Employees have to many options and the mental health of our people is too important. We wish that this could have been discussed in your exit interview so that we could hear your experience and grow from it.

Pros

Company credit card Miles reimbursed Some personal development

Cons

No structure Unrealistic expectations Disrespectful to employees They are well versed in selling you the vision they have and you’ll buy in for as long as the honey moon phase lasts, but once you are caught up between what one superior tells you and the conflicting opinion of another, the blame always comes down to the employee. A “Chain of command,” is non existent. The chief team preaches accountability but never take it themselves, and when seeking for assistance your bosses are never available. If you need their opinion or guidance, you’ll have to catch them on a good day. Otherwise the response you’ll get is “I pay you to figure this out,” or “why are you asking me?” They tried with culture, but reality in this company is that once you stick up for yourself you are blackballed. It’s a work environment where keeping your head down and taking a verbal lashing with a “yes man” mentality will earn you another days keep.
