Easy work but ultimately a dead end job

Pros

My coworkers were always very nice and helpful. Employees are offered benefits, paid holidays and paid time off after only working there for a short period of time. A lot of the departments have great supervisors.

Cons

The supervisor in the policy issue department is hostile and ill-disposed. She plays favorites and seems to enjoy finding one or two employees to bully. Raises are almost nonexistent. The health insurance offered to employees has outrageous premiums and deductibles. Some employees are disciplined for using PTO that was planned in advance while others are not. There is little to no room for advancement. The work in some departments can be pretty mundane.

Pros

* Pay your commissions on time and fast. * Answer your calls rapidly. * Process to submit application is fast and easy.

Cons

When I was hired in 2017 I was told by my manager and by GWI that they will keep a percentage of my sales into a reserve account for any charge backs or cancellations. And after 1 year of my last day of employment they will release my reserve account. When I called after 14 months they said they will send me check of $X amount. However, after 4 months later I had to call again for my check. This time they said they will send me a check wit $Y amount. Now after one year that was last month I called for 3rd time to get my check and they said now is $Z. GWI said because I had cancellations or whatever. It doesn't matter. After one year all is mine. That is what I was told again by GWI mad my manager when I was hired. Now these ladies were telling me that now is after 2 years. It is like a scam and it's not fair. 2.. Commissions were too low. 3. My manager was stealing $20 for each special product or travel protection that I was selling and was forwarding it to one of my sup. When I asked both of them why I was missing $20 on each sale they said that they did not know that "they will find out" when I had already talked to an assistant twice and told me that this person, my sup, was the one getting that money and I should talk to my manager. When I quit I talked to my manager about this and removed his mask from his face and since he was discovered only what he told me was that he is the boss and he can do whatever he wants. And keep in mind he attend a church regularly on Sundays. He supposed to be a religious person. He was a joke
