Pros

Competitive pay, diverse environment, excellent experience, helping patients at their worst, providing support to families at their worst.

Cons

Healthcare jobs are in place in order to provide care to the population of sick, traumatized, aging, and helpless... Let us not lose sight of that! Atlanta needs Grady!!!! If we see faults in the systems in place then we need to advocate for change, not rush to social media and down talk our employer and our facility.

Pros

close to home, free parking,

Cons

a culture of indolence pervades. For myself as a circulating OR nurse, i didn't have the proper facility, equipment, supplies, information or resources to perform my job satisfactorily. Management was indifferent to the struggles of the staff to perform their required duties. The "Grady way" then a shrug of the shoulders! WORST workplace I ever had in 20+ years of nursing. Stay Away !!!!!

Pros

Grady Health System has an incredible mission and affect on the larger community and does important work on a daily basis. Grady has made strides to improve the level of care provided to patients and potential patients and continues to make news in the Medical world.

Cons

Grady does a poor job at administration and maintaining its workforce. Grady suffers from poor leadership at several levels and exercises little respect for its employees who are not nurses. The organization as a whole is significantly behind in the implementation and effective use of technology and its human resources. It's culture breeds work silos, grand standing, territorial type behavior and does not cultivate a team environment. The organization as whole is also very political in nature and as a result focuses more on the politics than being an effective non-profit corporation.
