Feels rotten from the top down. Owned by a finance company and led by senior management with questionable integrity and respect for their employees. Frequent flip flopping on decisions and misleading of staff as to the intentions of the business. Leading to a lot of wasted effort and feeling of being taken for a ride. Frequent internal restructuring and imposed role changes. Disparity in salaries all over the business. Many people on salaries far below their worth. Overly complicated systems and communication processes so few people really get a sense of what is going on across the whole business. Few toxic people in senior roles with a micromanagement style creating poor working environment for others. High staff turnover with many people leaving mainly due to poor salaries and lack of trust, with little done to effectively replace people/experience lost. A "we can manage with what we've got if need be" attitude to staff departures. Dreary office environment. Very poor work/life balance for most people with work invading personal life frequently with little appreciation or reward. Whole place feels outdated and out of touch with the industry it is part of.
