Pros

The ONLY pros about this company are the co- workers

Cons

After reading all the other reviews it sounds like disgruntled employees, however they are all TRUE! They are family owned & they think that gives them the right to treat their employees with no regard, respect & berate them. They are also very unprofessional, fighting with each other & cursing at each other right in the office in front of all the employees. It was very uncomfortable at times. They also expect you to work past your normal work hours (9:00-5:30 with a half hour for lunch and NO BREAKS) and not get paid for it. I used to go in about 8:30 and stay late all the time, I never got paid and never even got a thank you. The only thing I got was reprimanded when I couldn't stay late. They also fire their employees for no reason, never caring about what may be going on in their life. Most of the employees that work there are working everyday with the fear that this will be the day that they get fired because that's what management does there, they fire you for no reason. That is the reason I say it's an unhealthy place to work. Who wants to work everyday with that kind of fear? I did it for over a year and it's not healthy! In the year and a half that I worked there I saw at least 45 people come and go (some quit, but most were fired), that alone speaks volumes about Gordon Sinclair. They also cheat their customers! If a customer over charges themselves on their PO's they keep the money, they never tell them that the item actually cost less. Being in customer service this was hard for me to do, I wanted to be fair and honest with the customer, but we were not allowed to. Finally, it is a dirty place to work. The rugs were filthy and stained and there was mold all over the leaky ceiling.

Pros

I enjoyed doing the work. Certain co-workers were nice and made the day enjoyable and able to get through it.

Cons

I hate the fact that everything was constantly blamed on us, there is no respect for the employees. All reasons for taking this position were taken away, there was no incentive to stay, and we were treated like dirt. The employees are either fired or leaving back to back.

Pros

A really great group of co workers who work hard to keep up company morale.

Cons

Owners are nice enough, but they are letting the next generation in their family run the business in to The ground. Not only do they scream and curse at each other, making everyone embarrassed, they yell at and demean the employees as well. Never any recognition for hard work, but lightening quick to highlight every mistake, yet they are making the bulk of them and blaming others. Poor pay, filthy office with fruit flies. Instituted a time clock where now the front office employees have to punch in and out and arbitrarily took away half the vacation time promised upon hiring for most staff. Everyone wonders if today is the day they will be fired. Such an unhealthy environment.
