Pros

The branding and awards attracts talented people, however the turnover rate is high due to reasons below.

Cons

When I worked here, there was an intense boys club, more than I have ever seen in my 6+ years in advertising. Senior staff would openly make derogatory jokes about women in front of junior staff, and there were even times when female staff were assaulted at work events. The work-life balance was also almost non-existent, staff could work 12+ hours a day and be commended by the head of teams on the "hard work".

We’re shocked and saddened to read your review. Whilst we do not recognise the culture and agency you have described, we appreciate your strength of feeling. In terms of the allegations you have made, we want to assure you and all Goodstuffers, present and future, that we take any such allegations extremely seriously and would act swiftly in line with our values and our policies to deal with such behaviour. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is a business priority, and we have worked extremely hard on gender parity and representation over the last six years, as demonstrated in our Leadership team and our agency population. Not only that, misogyny and discrimination of any kind are simply not tolerated at Goodstuff and they fly in the face of our values. We would like to discuss your allegations in depth if you are willing and able to do so, please get in touch and rest assured, any feedback would be treated in the strictest confidence. Very best wishes.

Pros

The only pro here is the amount of media owner lunches

Cons

Terrible place to work. Drug riddled agency. Awful work/life balance, would regularly work until past 9pm. Very unsupportive management. Would never recommend anyone to work here.

We’re so sorry that your experience of working at Goodstuff was an unhappy one; we know this is an anomaly but that doesn’t excuse it. We only hope that all of the work we do to engage and motivate Goodstuffers will ensure this isn’t the case for employees in the future. Thanks for feeding back - we will absolutely take on board your comments in our efforts to constantly improve and implement new initiatives to ensure the happiness of our people

Pros

They cover up the fact they pay you so badly with lots of parties and treats. Benefits package is really good.

Cons

Awful pay. Very stressful environment with lots of pressure and some horrible people who talk to you like dirt. Theres such a hierarchy and you’re worth nothing unless you’re at the top. Very clicky groups, including HR. Hard work is never appreciated and constant fault picking. You’re always expected to pull out magic so last minute with no reward. Bullies and rude people work here. This place sent me into depression.
