The unspoken rule here is that students are given A grades unless they simply neglect to turn in an assignment. I regret sending my kids here. The academic standards are abysmal. My kids struggled their first year of college because they were not at all prepared. Why push when the kids who do next to nothing also get As? Also, the school is managed by people who have never worked anywhere but Gilmour, and the result is that the culture is insular and behind the times. Fresh ideas can't gain any traction, in the business office or anywhere else.

chief academic officer, extremely low pay, homophobic teachers, no transparency from admin/business office, lots of extra requirements, little to no discipline, outdated classroom building and math and science building, favoritism, no salary schedule (very secretive), sharing classrooms, you have to stay after school for 55 minutes
