      some of the nicest people to work for

      salary and respect are neglected if you are not in management position. If you do get either, you have to fight for it.

      General Catalyst Partners invests in the success of the portfolio companies, and really gets behind them. They have an amazing network of partners, resources, successful IPO's and acquisitions.

      Can be difficult to get in touch with executives, and have a voice.
