Pros

If you want to be a web developer, Geneca will expose you to a lot of technologies and provide a learning-friendly environment. As a developer, most of us know that training happens on the job and Geneca does a very good job of providing a safe place to do that. The people are a lot of fun to work with and team oriented projects make you feel like a community of developers. A lot of really intelligent developers work her and are true technologists. Culture is a big selling point of Geneca and you will be encouraged to participate in making the company what you want to be. As with most things, you will get out what you put in. The work is not particularly challenging if you've been a developer for any length of time. It's a great place to work if you enjoy a work life balance and want to work with web technologies.

Cons

Geneca works almost exclusively within the Microsoft stack. This can become tiresome after awhile if you want to use a wide variety of technologies outside of C# or Javascript. However, there are always new Javascript libraries to learn or new patterns and paradigms to learn. As a consulting company you don't really get a say as to which project you get put on, so you may get stuck on some tough clients, but they try to keep stints on projects short so you don't burn out. While the company definitely looks out for it's developers, you should expect to put in your time doing some work that you may not want to do occasionally.
