1. HR department is a Joke. You'd receive an offer and that's about it. No guidelines there after. And no information on salary credit dates, leaves, Incentives forget it all. You should be almight and download all this information into your head from cosmos. Once you are in and started, the actual story starts. Biased as hell towards the Development team. Recruiting team are treated as Low lifes there. Any queries you may have, the moment you enter the HR cabins you are treated as if you are live on their mercy.
2. Politics: don't even bother to ask.
3. Management: They don't want to pay you. Period! They would be happy to squeeze every drop from you but when it comes to Salary/Incentives/appraisals they feel you are a liability. And they are least bothered about basic facilities provided to employees, employee satisfaction is not their concern. Money is all they are in need of. None of them are capable of bringing new business, but you are responsible to generate revenue from nothing.
4. Policies: one sided, only company benefits nothing is in shop for you. Don't expect a clean exit. The moment you put down your papers they won't make it easy for you. That month salary will be paid after minimum 2 months (if they agree to pay you that is). One of VP sends email to HR not to provide any letters. And although they deduct your taxes they will not provide you form 16 (that is the level of professionalism). Any emails after that you send is waste of your time.
