Don't believe good reviews.

Pros

Apart from owners, everyone else is nice. They sponsor work permits. Not too much good going on otherwise. Only people that stick on are immigrants who don't have a choice.

Cons

The business model is taking advantage of immigrants on work permits and not paying them. They have also been sued by old employees. They lie to everyone including clients. Partners don't know anything. Run it like a family business and fire people who try anything different. Management is rude and treat everyone badly. Co founder yells at people if they gather around lunch table and talk. They discriminate and favor Russians and Eastern Europeans. Mostly only promote family members. Give you task and no resources. Setting you up to fail. The CEO doesn't know advertising. Tries to run it like an accounting company but also wants to be creative. They don't have respect for anyone. No good reason to work here. If you want work visa be prepared to work like bonded labor. I see more lawsuits in the future.

Dear Don't believe good reviews, It saddens us at Gravity that this was your perception of our company. We always strive to ensure that our team grows in their knowledge and skills so that they can build for a successful future. Yes we have a very diverse make-up of the team, but that is because we believe firstly in helping those around us also achieve the American Dream and we believe that diversity increases creativity and understanding of the global consumer's needs. Our strength is in our cultural make up which includes our colleagues and Gravity family from diverse ethnicities including: Chinese, Korean, French, Filipino, Indian, Afghan, Jamaican, Mexican, Irish, Venezuelan, Ukrainian, Guyanese, Italian and good ole Brooklynese... As far as your critique of leadership and our work approach goes, we will just let our client work speak for itself, especially as many of them have been with us for many years. Sometimes folks are not the right fit, we hope that your future brings you a better fit and happy times.

No Culture, All About making money, Harsh Eastern European Mgmt

Pros

The staff is made up of some very nice people. The offices are very nice.

Cons

This place is mismanaged. They want to be a modern young NYC company but they can not get out of their own way. There are many cons here: This trip people have mentioned, they want you to sit indoors all day and barely get any free time. The owners are very cold and stern Eastern European people, who do not really understand how to manage a staff in a modern media way. The HR dept is a joke, doesn't bode well when one of the owners is HR - seems they had to find something for her to do. You will be barked at with orders, you will be told its a casual office by HR then the CEO will tell everyone he wants you to dress up. Also you probably will not get your benefits on time, seems using the excuse that the insurance company messed up, is a common excuse. Also more then a few times HR forgot to pay the staff.

Dear No Culture ... Unfortunately, we can’t make all the people happy all of the time, but we do work hard to make most happy. Sorry you feel this way, and if it is so bad we only wish you would come to us so that we have an opportunity to fix something if we can. Yes, our trip is a corporate planning trip in the Caribbean, and yes that does mean we spend two half days out of five in planning meetings which also includes outdoor team building. It is regretful that you don’t enjoy the afternoon pool and beach parties, nor the Saturday outing and beach time the rest of the team did. If there is a reason, we would love to know why…

Smoke And Mirrors!!

Pros

Nice people from various different countries. The offices are located in midtown. Some of the people here are smart and they mean very well to help each out.

Cons

Some nice people here. The salaries are low, most people need sponsorship visas which is the plan to keep them stuck. Agency head is a con-artist who uses a ghost writing firm to write all articles which he then posts on LinkedIn, Forbes and other online sites as his own. Very often boasting about the articles as if they are really his own. The agency claims to be the #1 Asian agency but this is not true because they submit bogus numbers to industry publication who don't check (this is why we don’t attend or participate in any Asian industry event). They should do an audit. They are constantly hiring and firing people. They even fill the website with pictures of interns and freelancers to look big. Everyone hates working there but they are stuck because nobody will hire them because a job here will blacklist you from any multicultural agency anywhere There is no work life balance. People who regularly go out to lunch or take days off are looked down upon. Place is run like a family business and so there is no room for growth or promotion. Findr partners are really good and brains behind the operation and nobody understands why they take a back seat. All the positive reviews are not real. Stay away this place will ruin your career.

Dear Smoke and Mirrors, We apologize for the late reply and are saddened by the way you feel. As I am sure you know we always like to address issues of discontent as soon as we are made aware. Please always come to us so that we can address these issues and if our company culture does not bring you what you need, we are always happy to assist helping you to find success and happiness. We have worked hard to create true partnerships with industry leaders so that we can not only ensure the growth of our company but also of our staff. The articles you mention are a collaborative effort, all done between the CEO and a team member. I am happy to say I am one of them that has collaborated with him. In addition, very few leaders write their own published articles, ours just happens to always participate in his and always gives credit to his collaborator. The company and its team have worked hard for it recognition and rankings, all of which have been granted by industry leaders that take their responsibilities as seriously as we do.
