Pros

> good equipment that rarely breaks down in my experience > decent salary per year (70k to 80k ish depending on how hard you run/how much hometime you take) > most office staff seems nice/cooperative

Cons

> Inconsistent miles. > frequent driver manager staff turnover > increases in micro management (fuel consumption, a program that forces you to go the speed limit, many other things) > lack of drop and hooks, frequent time consuming live load and unload > terrible shippers and receivers that waste your time > you frequenly are sent to strange locations that are tight for semis and or include lots of mud and dirt > you stop /work late often because of the frequent delays

Pros

Salary is fair and paid weekly. Systems, technology, assets and maintenance/ shop are good. Their headquarters have a few amenities.

Cons

Planning is done last minute, too much workload, micromanagement, no raises, no advancement opportunities, walking on eggshells, drivers are pushed too hard, you are just a number. PTO is difficult to get approved. No work/ life balance. You will work 45 plus hours a week with no additional compensation. Too many responsibilities and drivers to comfortably manage. They favor foreign offices/ employees over US based workforce. They are constantly pushing for profits and not the well being of their drivers/ employees. You will be expected to work as a robot and be disciplined for the smallest of mistakes. Management and coworkers are quick to point blame and throw you under the bus. Drivers have difficulty getting miles and making it home on time. They expect you to manage 30 drivers. Claim to care about employees or drivers but run as a typical Eastern European trucking company. They exploit foreign workforce wages in Lithuania and Colombia. Benefits are expensive. If you have no other opportunities it’s worth exploring but otherwise I would stay away. High turnover rate for both drivers and dispatchers. It is difficult to take lunch/ breaks. You will be working non stop from 7am-5pm.

Pros

Equipment and maintenance shop is good.

Cons

GP has really gone down hill. It was great when there was DMs that were willing to work but all the good ones left.
