The management lies to you every day. The management keeps telling you that they will get you tools to ensure that you are a success, this too is a lie. You ask for something and it might be 4 months or more before you actually get the tools you need. Management always dangles the carrot in front of your face. Well if you do this then we will do that. DON'T listen to this rhetoric again all LIES. They think that if they beat you into the ground they can offer you an ice cream sandwich and it will all be considered good. You will jump through hoops while they don't care about you , your family, or your life. The benefits.......well let's not even go there. Where I worked had brown recluse and they were very slow in reacting to that issue even though they profess to be safety conscious part of the solution to the problem would be to throw a fogger in the trailer but I guess the company could not afford that small cost to ensure safety. This employer is very UNSTABLE, schedules, promotions, day to day operations ........all UNSTABLE. They talk about quality....well here is there quality: Garbage comes in and you are suppose to turn garbage into gold. This is to be done without tools. Here is another real pleasure to consider: no matter who screws up rather it is the IVORY TOWER or lower MANAGEMENT it will be the person on the line that will have to sacrifice their time and effort to fix the errors. After a while this becomes a serious joke that you as the teammate will have to pay for. FORGET the PAY. You will be grossly under paid.

GENCO has always had a negative reputation in the industry for unfair management practices, low pay, and poor employee morale issues, good old boys mentality and family run greed. This is a Pittsburgh based company which automatically lends itself to not being as good of an employer as companies based in better cities with higher compensation packages. People with no education or expert background last long at the company if they are favorites, while those with top talent expertise and high level degrees are feared by the other less talented employees. This is a terrible company, and should be avoided unless the company completely changes in the near future.
