      Pros

      Laid back work environment, fairly flexible hours, uniform or relaxed dress code, and freedom to work independently.

      Cons

      Pretty big culture difference between upstairs executives/administration and the manufacturing/research areas. Too much power resides in HR, and they have far too much control over managers and company policy.

      Pros

      Really good people to work with, excellent 401k (1:1 match up to 5%, PLUS 5% additional company contribution), good work-life balance

      Cons

      HQ in Japan generally gives the Oregon team freedom to run their own show, or works closely together to find optimal solutions, but occasionally directives or decisions from Japan were strange.

      Pros

      The colleagues are nice to work with and the only aspect of the job that is enjoyable.

      Cons

      The President created a toxic environment and does not listen to his employees. Management just does what the President says even though some of the decision are not rational from the American perspective. Good people have left the company due to the manner in which they were treated, which was mandated by the President in order to force them to leave.
