      Don't Do It!

      Pros

      Hardworking administrative and tech staff that do their best under incredibly difficult circumstances.

      Cons

      Freeman, Mathis is not a firm run by partners. In my opinion, it is a firm run by an egomaniacal, misogynist micromanager with a Napoleon complex. He continues to expand his empire and the number of people that must "kiss the ring" without regard to the fact the hardworking administrative and tech staff have not been given adequate, if any, training which prevents attorneys from effectively and efficiently representing their clients. The above is evidenced by the incredible turnover of staff, attorneys and partners in each of the California offices over the past year.

      Absolutely nothing about this firm is good.

      Cons

      They treat employees horrible. They discriminate against those who don’t fit “the mold” white, rich, republican robots. They retaliate when you speak up for being treated unfairly. They don’t pay well and have horrible benefits.

      Tough Place to Be

      -Looking out on the Galleria garden is pleasant. -Most attorneys and staff members are nice.

      Cons

      -The juxtaposition of the revolving doors in the lobby foreshadows the environment. -Benefits are awful. -Everyone from the CEO down is replaceable. -Workload is higher than compensation. -New CEO seems two faced.
